Lieutenant General Pocius led Lithuania’s army since 2009 and was replaced by Major General Jonas Vytautas Žukas this July after his term ended.

Lithuania does not have ambassador to Romania since last year after Vladimir Jarmolenko was recalled. The diplomatic representation in Romania is currently headed by adviser Jonas Mažeika, acting as a chargé d’affaires.
