Lithuania’s Lietuvos Žinios daily gets new CEO

AM

Smigelskas, 56, was Lithuania’s MP in 1996-2000 and has lately headed the Lithuanian Environment Protection Investment Fund.

Lietuvos Žinios’ earlier CEO Laimutis Genys was sacked in August of 2016 following criticism from the board about the company’s performance.
