Lithuania’s retail sales jump nearly 7%

New figures from Statistics Lithuania show that food product, alcohol and tobacco retailers saw their sales rise by 6.7% on the same period last year, while non-food retailers, excluding the automobile sector, saw sales rise by 8.1%. Automotive fuel retailers posted a 6.6% year on year rise in sales.

Motor vehicle and motorcycle retailers and repair service providers saw their sales jump 15.3% month on month between January and February, while food and beverage service providers saw their sales increase by 12.2% month on month.
