Luxembourg’s soldiers, who will help ensure logistical support for the battalion, brought around ten transport trucks with them.

They joined German, Dutch, Belgian and Norwegian troops serving in the NATO battalion deployed to Lithuania this year.

The Alliance last year decided to station multinational units in the three Baltic countries and Poland as a deterrent to Russia following its actions in Ukraine and the Baltic Sea region.
