Over 15 year-olds consumed 12.3 liters of alcohol in Lithuania last year – figures

3.1 million deciliters of spirits, including vodka, whisky, brandy and similar beverages, were sold by retailers and catering enterprises last year, down 10.5 percent from 2016.

Sales of wine and fermented beverages stood at 4.2 million decaliters (–18.4 percent) and sales of beer dropped 8.2 percent to 23.2 million decaliters.
