The exercise at NATO’s Hohenfels training area will start on Nov. 2 and will run for almost a month, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry said.
Lithuania’s brigade will command the headquarters of a multinational brigade that will also include troops from Slovenia, the United Kingdom, Denmark, the United States, Italy and Germany.
Allied Spirit VII is directed by the US Army Europe. Over 2,500 troops from nine NATO countries participated in last year’s drills and a similar number is expected this year.
