“Three young women today turned to the Prosecutor General’s Office over offenses committed by MP Kestutis Pūkas. Basically, the main argument why they turned is the (Criminal Code) article on sexual harassment,” Karolis Rugys of the law firm Žiemelis, Valys, Rugys and Partners told BNS.
The lawyer said that one of the women had previously worked as an aide to Pūkas at the Seimas and the other two had tried to get the job of the lawmaker’s aide.
Elena Martinonienė, spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General’s Office, confirmed to BNS on Wednesday evening that the complaint had been received. She added that a woman had also filed a separate complaint containing similar allegations.
