“Ship traffic is still restricted. Winds are gradually weakening. The speed was 12-17 meters per second at 4 p.m.,” Dovilė Ringis told BNS.
“Nine ships are waiting to enter the port and two are waiting to leave,” she added.
Ship traffic has been restricted in Klaipėda since Tuesday. Early on Wednesday, the wind speed was up to 27 meters per second and the height of waves was around five meters.
