SocMin pledges revamp of child’s rights scheme after child beating

He pledged to Friday meet with other ministers whose field of activities have to do with protecting children rights, pledging to revise the entire system.

On Thursday, Lithuania was shaken by the news of severe beating of a four-year-old boy in Kėdainiai, central Lithuania. The child remains in critical condition. His mother and her live-in boyfriend have been detained.
