UNESCO experts to evaluate property development projects in Vilnius

The experts will provide advice on the construction of a residential complex on the grounds of the Missionary Monastery ensemble, as well as plans to establish a hotel and a pilgrimage centre within the complex.

They also give their opinion on the planned construction of the K18 office building on the right bank of the Neris River.

Asta Junevičienė, secretary general of the Lithuanian National Commission for UNESCO, said that the advisory mission is expected to submit its report on Jan. 15.

The Old Town of Vilnius is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
