“One thing is clear and certain in this case – the municipality is no longer willing to litigate with the Competition Council. The Competition Council has said that such company must disappear and it will,” Vilnius mayor told journalists on Monday.
Šimašius emphasised that the taxi company Vilnius Veža is due to pay for vehicles leased. An audit is currently being carried out at the company to determine its actual financial state.
According to the mayor, the company’s structure is so complicated that “probably nobody is capable of understanding it any longer”.
