The decision has been taken by shareholders of Veido Periodikos Leidykla, the publisher of the magazine, Andrius Valačka, the company’s acting CEO, said on Tuesday.
“With readers increasingly choosing digital media, strong competition with news portals makes the print edition of the weekly enviable. Therefore, it is planned to develop the Veidas portal in the future,” he said in a press release.
Veido Periodikos Leidykla’s shareholders are Alga, Eika, Biosantara, Grigiškės, Enerstenos Grupė, BOD Group, Danas Tvarijonavičius and Algimantas Šindeikis.
