“The Plan Shield was immediately set off. Our officers left for the airport and people are being evacuated. Officers from (the police anti-terrorist operations unit) ARAS have been called in,” Kaunas Police spokeswoman Odeta Vaitkevičienė told BNS.
The Emergency Response Centre received the anonymous call at 10:34 a.m.
