The world’s largest 3D model trading platform CGTrader is coming to the Vilnius Tech Park community.
CGTrader, founded in 2011, gives designers and companies a platform where they can share, buy and sell 3D models.
In 2014, the company attracted investments from Practica Capital and the world’s largest microprocessor manufacturer Intel managed by Intel Capital, currently CGTrader has more than 500,000 users.
“Many emerging companies in one place will share experiences and learn from each other. The CGTrader team believes that it is the right step in the development of the knowledge economy and entrepreneurship. This will definitely be an environment to achieve inspiring results,” said the head of CGTrader Dalia Lašaitė who has recently been listed in the TOP 100 women founders in Europe by magazine The Hundert.
Forbes named the company as one of the eight most ambitious start-ups in Lithuania. CGTrader already has customeers from 108 countries around the world, mainly the United States and Western Europe. The company also brings together designers from 113 countries.
The main industries using the platform include the game, film and animation and advertising industries as well as medicine, and virtual reality markets use CGTrader.
