Davos Economic Forum founder visiting Lithuania

His agenda in Vilnius for Thursday includes a meeting with President Dalia Grybauskaitė and presentation of his monograph The Fourth Industrial Revolution at the Economic Forum of the Year 2017. On Friday, he will receive regalia of the honorary doctor of the Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).

He has been granted the title for promotion of economic know-how and advanced concepts, as well as social entrepreneurship, support to young businesses and his contribution to the development of the concept of the fourth industrial revolution, KTU said.

Founded by Schwab in 1971, the World Economic Forum has been a driver for reconciliation efforts in different parts of the world, acting as a catalyst of numerous collaborations and international initiatives.
