Ansip is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius, Parliament Speaker Loreta Graužinienė, members of the Seimas Committee of European Affairs and representatives of organisations engaged in the digital market field.
He will also attend the Password: Digital event on the digital single market and entrepreneurship as part of the international event #SWITCH!.
More than 100 global experts on digital entrepreneurship and e-government topics are meeting on 8-9 October in Vilnius in the largest ICT and entrepreneurship event in the Baltic region #SWITCH!, organised by the Lithuanian MEP, ALDE group member Antanas Guoga.
The event will be opened by Ansip and features digital business leaders like Microsoft, Amazon and Allegro, top-level officials from 6 countries in the region and thousands of Lithuanian high-school and university students. The European Commission has chosen #SWITCH! to present one of its most important priorities – the Digital Single Market Strategy.
