Economy minister to leave office on October 13

Dalia Grybauskaitė‘s decree on the minister’s resignation will take effect on October 13, the president’s office said on Thursday.

The economy minister tendered his resignation on Monday after the Council of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP) voted last weekend to leave the government coalition with the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (LFGU)
