The ministry has registered a draft governmental resolution on handover of 2,700 square meters of premises on Savičiaus Street to the university for two years.

Maksimas Milta of the university told BNS that students should open the spring semester in March in the new premises.

The EHU is a private university that was established in Minsk in 1992, but was later closed down by Belarus’ authorities. Reopened in Vilnius in 2004, it enrolls about 900 students, mainly from Belarus.
