Kęstutis Vaškelevičius, adviser to Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius, told BNS that Steinmeier’s visit to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia was postponed after the negotiations in Switzerland on Iran’s nuclear program took longer than expected.

“We are looking for new dates for the visit,” said Vaškelevičius.

During a meeting with Linkevičius, the German diplomacy chief intended to discuss the situation in Ukraine, the relations with Russia, the Eastern neighbourhood and regional and energy security issues.
