
“No doubt, certain aid will be provided to all countries, depending on the extent they are affected. (It is difficult) to speak about concrete amounts. As to the amount you mentioned (50 million euros), it does not seem likely to me,” she told reporters on Monday.
Grybauskaitė said that all EU member states need support as a decline in the milk sector is a common problem.
“We are faced with a decline in global demand because of a slowdown in such major economies as China, Russia and others. So this is a common problem. No doubt, the European Union and the European Commission will deal with the problems experienced by Lithuania and other EU countries,” she said.
