Japan to decide on Lithuanian beef imports

Jonas Milius, the chief of the State Food and Veterinary Service, is meeting Japanese representatives in Berlin this week, he told LRT radio.

A Japanese delegation inspected Lithuanian beef processing plants and quality control last May.

Lithuania has been looking for new export markets for its food products after Russia introduced economic sanctions on European Union member states.
