“We have an unofficial map of ASF hotspots in Belarus’ border areas. The map, compiled based on media reports, has been published by the Russian veterinary and phytosanitary service,” Jonas Milius, director of the Lithuanian State Food and Veterinary Service, told BNS.
Belarus’ chief veterinary officer, Yuri Pivovarchik, is in Vilnius on Wednesday for meetings with representatives of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Health and Consumer Protection (DG SANCO) and Lithuanian veterinary officials.
