She refused to specify on the solution proposed by the commission to Lithuania, noting that separation or railway operations was one of them.
“Until very last minute when we took the decision to say we don’t think they (Lithuanians) are willing or capable of solving it so we have to revert to a decision that involves a fine,” Vestager told a news conference in the Lithuanian capital when asked whether the EC had decided on the fine for LG at the beginning of the year.
