The Lithuanian state collected €84 million or 1.6% more in revenue than projected in the first five months of 2016

Total revenue hit €2.42 billion showing an increase of 8.5% year-on-year.

“The improving collection of revenues is due to a number of factors, including economic growth spurred by improving domestic consumption, exports and record growth of investments, particularly in the regions. Wages are rising, production volumes are increasing, as well,” Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius said.
