Lithuania to use EU funds for informal learning programmes

The government said the EU money will be used for the purpose as of April 1.

The Ministry of Education and Science needs the additional funds to keep current informal learning programmes running after promising pay raises to striking teachers as of this September.

The government has also approved new regulations, specifying that schools could spend no more than 10% of education funding on administration.
