The Most Desirable Employer 2016 contest has announced its winners, crowning two IT companies from the same business group.
The contest, organised by Verslo Žinios, awarded the honour to Baltnetos Komunikacijos in the small enterprise category and Atea in the large enterprise category.
The companies were selected by a poll in which visitors to the newspaper’s website could vote on which company in the contest they’d most like to work at along with a number of criteria on which they had based their decision.
“We believe that our success in this contest is proof that our staff strategy is good and that we haven’t made any mistakes in choosing suitable workers during our selection stage. Though we had some doubts, we now receive a unique opportunity to assure ourselves that we have the very best team, and all made of the most desirable workers. I can now confidently say that at least three fourths of our workers are true company ambassadors,” said Baltneta Komunikacijos human resources manager Marijus Štilinis.
“During this contest, we joked that we wished our workers were as engaged in their projects as they were in the voting for the most desirable employer competition. We were guided by our team spirit from the very start and celebrated small victories at every stage. Now that it’s all over, we hope to achieve a similar level of worker engagement in our everyday work. We saw what sort of untapped worker potential we have,” said Jurgita Tarcijonienė, Atea’s human resources manager.
