Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists elects new president

During the 9th congress of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK), the confederation reelected Robertas Dargis for a second term as its president.

During the 9th congress of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK), the confederation reelected Robertas Dargis for a second term as its president.

Dargis was the only candidate in the elections. Out of 155 LPK members, 130 participated in the election, 129 votes were found in the box, 127 of which were valid and 121 of which were cast for Dargis.

The LPK’s congress is held every four years, during which the confederation’s president is elected and confirmed. Dargis was also elected president of the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association in 2012.

Presidents of the LPK serve four-year terms, and the same person cannot be the confederation’s president for more than two terms in a row.
