The latest minimum monthly wage increase was in July 2015, it was raised to EUR 325. Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has mentioned that he will propose to increase it to EUR 350 at the beginning of 2016. Meanwhile the Labour Party has proposed to the Government to increase the minimum monthly wage to EUR 437 from 1 July 2016.
