Seimas Speaker Loreta Graužinienė, who took part in the sitting, refused to give any comments.
“I cannot issue any comments because it was a sitting behind closed doors. All information will be provided in a press release by the presidential office, I cannot say any more,” she told reporters on Thursday after the sitting.
The State Defence Council consists of the president, the prime minister, the speaker of the Seimas, the minister of national defence, and the commander of the Armed Forces. The State Defence Council is headed by the president of Lithuania.
