“The circumstances that we have been informed about are that the accident occurred due to bad weather – one person, our client, was killed there. The body is currently being lifted from the site of the accident in the mountains in an effort to bring it to Lithuania as soon as possible,” spokeswoman Jovita Aukštuolytė-Minderienė said.
In her words, the young woman was travelling with a group of people, but the company received no more reports about injuries or casualties.
According to information available to 15min.lt news portal, the victim is a female born in 1987. One more woman suffered severe injuries.
The two women were travelling with the Vedlys club, representatives of which cannot be reached on their mobile phones.
Lithuania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet received any official information about the casualty or injuries.
