According to lrt.lt, Mazuronis even threatened that the Labour Party will consider leaving the governing coalition if demands to dismiss Vigelis continue.

Such was Mazuris’ response to PM Butkevičius’ opinion that the deputy culture minister was appointed only by the decision of Culture Minister Birutis, without having consulted with the prime minister first regarding the candidate. According to Butkevičius, the coalition partners had previously agreed that candidacies of deputy ministers must be agreed upon together.
