In an interview with the Lietuvos Žinios daily, the diplomat said that Eastern European security issues would receive particular attention during the upcoming NATO summit in Wales in early September.

“We agree that presence should be increased in this part of the world to respond to the security threat that has grown in recent months. We still don’t have strong conclusions in what form it should be done. That’s why we are holding the NATO summit, the issue will be discussed. We are convinced that more should be done. We are giving this issue special attention,” Hunt said.
