According to LRT sources, R. Karbauskis contacted party members by letter, proposing to reduce the number of LVŽS deputies from 11 to 6.

Among the current deputies R. Karbauskis has, the “Farmer” leader proposes only MEP Bronis Ropė and MP Aušrinė Norkienė remain in the position.

R. Karbauskis, who, according to LRT sources, is being nominated as party chairman for another term, would no longer want to see Seimas Vice Speakers R. Baškienė and A. Nekrošius, Seimas Environmental Protection Committee chairman Kęstutis Mažeika, Rural Affairs Committee head Andriejus Stančikas and MPs Tomas Tomilinas and Viktoras Rinkevičius as his deputies.

Instead of them, R. Karbauskis would want Minister of Healthcare Aurelijus Veryga, MPs Jonas Jarutis and Valius Ąžuolas, as well as the party’s executive secretary Kristina Kirslienė as deputy chairs.
