Prosecutors launched the investigation last March following complaints from four young women claiming that they had been sexually harassed by the lawmaker.
The prosecutors also say that Pūkas kept a gun in a safe in his office in the Seimas building, thus failing to ensure its safety.
The parliamentarian, who was elected to the Seimas on the Order and Justice list, may face a fine, restriction of liberty or arrest. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Vilnius District Prosecutor’s Office.
The Seimas has already launched impeachment proceedings against Pūkas over the sexual harassment charges.
