Liberal MP Eugenijus Gentvilas told BNS that eight lawmakers voted in favor of the decision in a closed meeting, adding that he abstained.
The commission launched its investigation following a request from several lawmakers who said that Skardžius’ family had leased land for wind farms under exceptional conditions and that the member of the Seimas had tabled proposals on renewable energy resources.
