Sinkevičius sworn in as Lithuania’s new economy minister

The 27-year-old member of the ruling Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (LFGU) is the youngest minister in Lithuania’s post-independence history.

His predecessor Mindaugas Sinkevičius stepped down in mid-October after his Social Democratic Party decided in late September to leave the government coalition with the LFGU.
