According to Delfi sources the Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius chose his former advisor who was up to recently working in Brussels Darius Skusevičius, diplomat Albinas Zanavičius and former vice minister Neris Germanas.
The Minister of Economy Mindaugas Sinkevičius will select his three vice ministers from among four candidates. They are Social Democrat Party Vice Chairman and Marijampolė municipal council member Ramūnas Burokas, LSDP Deputy Chairman Justas Pankauskas, Lithuanian Municipality Association representative in Brussels Lina Sabaitienė and Investuok Lietuvoje employee Rugilė Andziukevičiūtė.
Having been delegated as Minister of Justice by the Social Democrats, Minister of Justice Milda Vainiutė wishes to see former Vice Minister Paulius Griciūnas and former minister’s advisor Vainius Šarmavičius as vice ministers. The third candidate is identified as being Donatas Matuiza who works in the Prisons Department, but he has not been confirmed yet.
Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has said the vice ministers will have to be confirmed by him as well.
