“The proposed principles and objectives of the reform will receive the backing of the Social Democrats,” Paluckas told reporters after meeting with Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis on Friday.

The working group has proposed that Lithuania should have two universities offering a wide range of studies, in Vilnius and Kaunas, and two technological universities, in the capital and in Klaipeda, after the planned reform.
