Swedish new prime minister to visit Baltic states

Löfven’s visit on 20-21 October will include Helsinki, Tallinn, Vilnius and Riga.

The Swedish prime minister is arriving in Vilnius on Tuesday afternoon, where he is to meet with Lithuania’s Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius and later lunch with President Dalia Grybauskaitė.

Löfven of Sweden’s Social Democratic Party assumed the premiership on 3 October following his party’s victory in general elections in mid September.
