Troops from Belgium and Luxembourg to come to Lithuanian for training

The Belgians will bring an unidentified number of Piranha infantry fighting vehicles, Lieutenant Andrius Dilda, the public affairs officer of the Land Forces of Lithuania, said.

“The troops will execute various tasks, with the main focus made on training,” he told BNS. “Their goal will be to get acquainted with the Lithuanian territory. They will train at four different training areas with Lithuanian Land Force units.”

A company usually consists of 150 troops, and a squad has around 50.
