Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Groysman, agreed on this during their telephone conversation on Wednesday.

“A deputy prime minister-led delegation will come to Lithuania to mark the visa-free regime. They want to be the first to come to Lithuania, a country that has contributed much to the introduction of visa-free travel,” Deividas Matulionis, the Lithuanian prime minister’s foreign policy adviser, told BNS.

After lengthy negotiations, the EU has recently approved visa-free travel for Ukrainians. Ukrainian citizens holding biometric passports will be able to enter EU countries without a visa for 90 days for tourism, business or family purposes.
