Three more Lithuanian universities entered the ranking in the 701+ category: Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU), Kaunas Technology University (KTU) and Vytautas Magnus University (VDU).

We will not stop at domestic leadership, our goal is to stand side by side with the best universities in Europe, something that will require focus both from us and the government,” Vilnius University rector, professor Artūras Žukauskas expressed his elation at the university rising from the 501-550 positions of last year to the 481-490 positions this year.
