Organized by the National Union, the protest action was also attended by a handful of supporters of refugee resettlement.

Some of the slogans said “Stop the Moor Invasion” and “Lithuania is Not a Multicultural Jungle”, while others said “Refugees Welcome”.

The National Union’s leader Julius Panka said at the event that the refugees influx represented the new colonization, which constituted a threat of terrorist attacks like the ones in London and Paris.

On September 12, a refugee support campaign was held in Vilnius.
