Court drops case after bilingual signs are removed in Vilnius District

“The court was informed about the government’s representative in Vilnius County’s decision to withdraw the complaint after the director of administration of Vilnius District Municipality put proper street signs and provided evidence, photos,” the court said on Tuesday after dropping the case on Monday.

A court in the southern resort of Druskininkai was also informed in early October that bilingual Lithuanian-Polish street signs had been removed in Šalčininkai District as well.
