Over the past day, 1,138 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed. Nine deaths were diagnosed.

In the last two weeks, out of 100,000 inhabitants, the incidence is 517.6.

The percentage of positive diagnostic tests in the last seven days is 6.2%.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 325,383 cases of infection have been diagnosed in Lithuania.

Statistically, 212,118 people recovered (declared: 168,794).

Statistical number of active cases – 13,780 (declared nearly 58,104).

In order to determine the level of immunity caused by COVID-19 in the inhabitants of the Medininkai community and in order to accelerate vaccination against COVID-19, the inhabitants of the Medininkai community are invited to perform free tests for the amount of IgG antibodies towards SARS-CoV2, which indicates whether the person has immunity to the disease caused by the coronavirus.

The testing will be conducted from 19 to 23 April.

The tests for pre-registered residents will be carried out at the polyclinic in Medininkai (Medaus g. 28, Medininkai, Vilnius region) from 9.00 to 11.00.

Inhabitants who are unable to visit the Medininkai polyclinic due to health problems may have the examination performed at home. You should inform about it when registering for the examination.

Please be advised that from April 20 (Tuesday) until April 24 (Saturday), registration for the COVID-19 vaccine is continued at the Central Clinic of the Vilnius Region. On Saturday, April 24, vaccinations of pre-registered patients will also be carried out in polyclinics in Lavoriškės, Marijampolė, Nemėžis and Rudamina.

The vaccine is not recommended for people if 180 days have not passed since they were diagnosed with COVID-19, or if coronavirus antibodies were detected after performing a serological test.

Vaccinations are voluntary, the vaccine and vaccination services are free.
