The Lithuania-led multinational team will inspect a chosen area in the northern part of the country within the framework of the so-called 2011 Vienna Document of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
Based on the findings of their inspection, the team will prepare a report to OSCE member states, in which they will give their assessment of Serbia’s compliance with international arms control agreements.
Lithuanian arms control inspectors earlier this year took part in an inspection of a chosen area in Belarus and a verification visit to Russia.
