Lithuanian foreign minister sceptical about proposals to consult with parliament about refugee quota

“To my mind, we should not change the practice in this case. I do not think that we should make an exception this time. The current mechanism both saves time and has been proven efficient. This is my personal opinion,” the minister told Elta.

Seimas Speaker Loreta Graužinienė, meanwhile, wants to consult with entire parliament whether to give the Government a mandate to negotiate on the refugee issues.
