The two governments should establish a Lithuanian-Ukrainian youth exchange council tasked with supporting cooperation between young Lithuanians and Ukrainians.
“The council will seek its objectives by supporting and financing Lithuanian-Ukrainian youth exchange, various projects, events, meetings and other initiatives,” said the ministry.
Money for youth cooperation would be granted from Lithuanian and Ukrainian state budgets (from general allocations for the Social Security and Labour Ministry in Lithuania) and other sources.
“The Social Security and Labour Ministry of the Republic of Lithuania intends to grant 50,000 euros for the operations in 2016,” the ministry said.
