Marriott to invest in new hotel in Palanga

Marriot is planning a 4-storey, 150 room, 4 star hotel that will cover 14,000 square meters. If the plans are implemented, the Marriott Hotel in Palanga would be the first hotel opened by the chain in the three Baltic countries. The group has hotels in Belarus and Poland.

In November last year, Marriott International bought competitor, Starwood Hotels and Resorts making Marriott International the world’s largest hotel chain managing about 1.1 million rooms in 5,500 hotels around the globe.
