“With its symbols, the monument expresses the idea of unity of world Lithuanians for preserving and strengthening the State of Lithuania,” the author of the idea, sculptor Gediminas Radzevičius told a press conference at the Lithuanian Seimas on Thursday.
“The project is very meaningful, uniting the public. It’s an idea that will bring us, Lithuanian, even closer together,” Gintaras Karosas, director of the park, said.
The initial project cost stands at 3 million litas (around EUR 870,00).
